Responsibilities
- Make sales calls to existing customers and potential customers on a regular and consistent basis.
- Develop new, creditworthy accounts.
- Assist inside sales with preparation of quotations and proposals.
- Follow up on quotations and obtain competitive information.
- Pass on all competitive information to management and inside sales.
- Provide the customer with product and technical data as required.
- Develop and maintain personal relationships with customers.
- Maintain open lines of communication with management and inside sales.
- Submit all reports on a timely basis.
SKILLS REQUIRED
Required:
- High School Diploma (or equivalent)
- 2-3 years sales experience
Preferred:
- College degree
- 2 years of outside sales experience selling OCTG or line pipe
- Computer skills
