Responsibilities
- Check rail tracker to see which switching operations need to be done
- Responsible for seeing how many cars need to be stocked on both industry lines
- Responsible for cutting straps and bands on the rail cars, as well as pulling boards in between picks
- Counting and tallying
- Railcar Spotting
- Responsible for verifying all empty sand cars that get pushed down on our east track to ensure cars are in the right order when releasing full unit train
- Communication with office, ground crew and drivers
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Ability to work 8 to 10-hour shifts as needed, 6 days on/3 days off
- Self-starter, team player, and lead by example
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Reside within a reasonable distance to New Town operations
- Willing to undergo a background check
- Pass a drug screening
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety
