Responsibilities
  • Check rail tracker to see which switching operations need to be done
  • Responsible for seeing how many cars need to be stocked on both industry lines
  • Responsible for cutting straps and bands on the rail cars, as well as pulling boards in between picks
  • Counting and tallying
  • Railcar Spotting
  • Responsible for verifying all empty sand cars that get pushed down on our east track to ensure cars are in the right order when releasing full unit train
  • Communication with office, ground crew and drivers
SKILLS REQUIRED
  • Ability to work 8 to 10-hour shifts as needed, 6 days on/3 days off
  • Self-starter, team player, and lead by example
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Reside within a reasonable distance to New Town operations
  • Willing to undergo a background check
  • Pass a drug screening
  • Attention to detail and commitment to safety
